Hey everyone, not the fairy-tale finish we wanted this weekend, but what an effort from our teams. Let's give a shoutout to the hard work and sportsmanship from all our players.
On Sunday, 3 of our teams played in the Leinster Inter League Semi-Finals and Finals at Terenure and Marino Institute. The results didn't go our way, but the heart and effort were amazing.
🥈 Grade 2 Team
Our Grade 2 team made it to the Final and played hard against a strong Roundwood team. We lost 4-2, but the spirit was there. Reaching the Final is huge, and they should be proud.
🥉 Grade 3 Team
Our Grade 3 team faced Roundwood in their Semi-Final. It was a close match, ending in a tight 21-18 third set. Tough loss, but our players showed incredible heart. So close and so much to be proud of.
🥉 Grade 7 Team
Our Grade 7 team played Drumlish in their Semi-Final. They gave it their all, but the match ended 3-1 for Drumlish. Our team showed great effort and passion for the game.
Even in defeat, these moments highlight what our club stands for – commitment, teamwork, and always giving it our best. Having 3 teams reach this stage is a win in itself. The future is bright for Navan Badminton Club!
Thanks to all our players and supporters who came out, cheered, and kept the energy up. Your support means everything. We'll learn from this and come back stronger. Let's celebrate how far we've come.
