The Meath Badminton season has ended, and Navan shined with 3 Cup wins and 3 Runner-up finishes, along with our 3 Mixed Leagues, 3 Ladies Leagues, and 1 Men's League. Not bad, right?
Our Finals Week:
🥇 Grade 3 Ladies – CUP WINNERS!
Monday was big! The girls played great and won against Athboy/Kells. Aimee, Yash, Brenda, and Sarah were on point. They deserved that cup and their league win!
🥇 Grade 4 Mens – CUP WINNERS!
Kirthi, Kevin, Mark, and Dermot had one aim on Thursday in Kildalkey — to win. They did just that! WSBC was tough, but our guys pulled through.
🥇 Grade 7 Ladies – CUP WINNERS!
Claremont was alive on Wednesday with Theresa, Leeann, Dawn, and Karen beating Skryne 'A'. They worked well together and finished the season with a league and cup double!
🥈 Senior/Grade 2 Mixed 'A' – Runner-Up
A tight match in Kildalkey on Friday. Willie, Anneke, Lynn, and Paddy ended in a 6-6 draw against Athboy/Kells 'B'. They gave it their best!
🥈 Grade 4 Mixed 'A' – Runner-Up
Friday night was tough in Trim. Dermot, Rachel, Clare, and Mark played hard against Boyne. They showed great spirit!
🥈 Grade 5 Mens 'B' – Runner-Up
Tuesday in Athboy, David, Mark, Kirthi, and Clive gave it all against Ardee 'B'. They fought till the end and showed how much they've grown.
