What a Sunday of Leinster CAC Inter League action for our club!

Grade 2 (Anneke, Kyle, Elaine, Alo, Aimee, Gerard & Miriam) booked their place in the Inter League Final after a brilliant 4–3 semi-final win over Carlow LTC — a real nail-biter that went right to the wire. In the final vs Portlaoise, it was tight through the first four games, but Portlaoise edged the mixed to take the title. So close, but an incredible run and a performance to be proud of. Well done all!

Grade 7 (Robins, Anne, Lakshmi & Akhil) took on Carlow LTC in their Inter League Final after qualifying midweek — and they pushed them every step of the way. A 2–1 loss in games, but the sets tell the story: 6–4 overall. Every match was a battle and the fight on show was outstanding. Brilliant effort — and a Leinster medal to show for it. Fully deserved!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support. The standard of badminton from our members in Terenure was something to be really proud of — a fantastic way to wrap up the competitive season.

    WOW, what a night!

Friday night’s Table Quiz was absolutely brilliant and we’re still buzzing. A massive THANK YOU to every one of the 40 teams who came out and gave it their all — we nearly ran out of chairs at one point, but we got there in the end!

It was unreal seeing so many familiar faces and plenty of new ones too. Your support for the club means more than we can say.

A special shoutout as well to the players from other clubs who made the trip over to support us — the badminton family really is something else, and Friday night proved it.

    And the RAFFLE
Jaysus, what a job — pure madness (the good kind). Huge thanks to everyone who bought tickets and to all who donated prizes. It was a real highlight of the night.

To our sponsors and donors: we genuinely couldn’t have done it without you. Every cent raised goes straight back into the club, and we’re so grateful for the support this community continues to show.

From all of us at Navan Badminton Club — thank you. Nights like this remind us how lucky we are to have such an amazing locality behind us, and we promise to keep working hard to make the club something we can all be proud of.

If you’d still like to donate, we’re continuing to accept contributions via Revolut here:

It’s been a busy few days for our Men’s teams, and we want to take a moment to shout out three groups of lads who all reached their Cup Finals this season.

    🏆 Grade 5 Men’s ‘A’ (James, Raza, Bryan & David)
Played their Cup Final on Wednesday night vs Longwood ‘B’. It wasn’t their night, but reaching a final is never easy — we’re hugely proud of the effort and the run they put together.

    🏆 Grade 6 Men’s (Colin, Ray, Ali & Pauric)
Took on Longwood ‘A’ on Thursday night, featuring some familiar faces from their Grade 5 winning side. A tough match, but an excellent campaign and a massive credit to the lads.

    🏆 Grade 7 Men’s ‘B’ (Jason, Sharath, Sumit & Aaron)
A few weeks back, they went toe-to-toe with Mullagh and only lost out 7–5. As close as it gets — a brilliant contest and a top-class effort from start to finish.

    3 Men’s Cup Finals. 3 runner-up medals.
Some season for these lads — they’ve done the club proud.

Huge well done to our Grade 2 Ladies ‘A’ and Grade 2 Mens who both finished runners-up in their league finals last night in Kildalkey.

Grade 2 Ladies ‘A’ (Elaine, Aimee, Anneke & Miriam) put up a great fight against Ardee — brilliant rallies and real determination throughout.

Grade 2 Mens (Alo, Gerard, Kyle & Ross) had a similar battle against Julianstown ‘B’ — a tough match, huge effort, and plenty of heart on show.

Massive congrats to Ardee and Julianstown ‘B’ on their victories — excellent teams and very well played on the night.

Finals are never easy to reach, and both our teams should be seriously proud of getting there. A great season all round — we’ll go again next season!
