Another busy week of badminton done and dusted! 🏸

It was a tough week on the results front for a lot of our teams, but there were some brilliant battling performances throughout.

Special mentions:

• Grade 2 Mixed ‘B’ – hard-fought draw
• Grade 6 Mixed ‘A’ – hard-fought draw
• Grade 6 Mixed ‘B’ – just missed out on a playoff, but a super effort

Fair dues to all our teams this week for the effort put in.

Cup Update

A mixed bag overall, but huge credit to our Grade 6 Mens who took Athboy/Kells to points and showed real grit and character — winning by 4 points to secure a Semi-Final spot. So close, and well deserved!

The prelims continue this weekend in Kildalkey (Meath), Baldoyle (Dublin) and Roundwood (Wicklow).

Almost three weeks ago, the Meath Grade 2A, 2B, 4A and 6A panels booked their places at Finals Day in March — a fantastic achievement. Now it’s over to the Grade 3, 5A and 5B teams to make it a clean sweep for Meath!
