Committee changes - after a number of years Dermot has decided to step down from the chairman role thankfully Shane Dunbar has taken up the role for the up coming season. Many thanks to Dermot for all his hard work over the years he will still be involved (hopes to play more!) so he isn't disappearing on us completely

We have been assured that there is no immediate impact and remains business as ususal at Claremont. 05 January 2017 - Season well underway, lots of Badminton being played!
Season so far - its been a busy first half of the season. Lots of teams involved some great team performances and club nights have been very well attended. We are back from the xmas break as of last night Wednesday 4th Jan and club nights back as normal Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Note: Juvenile Club is back next Monday 9th Jan some time changes see below.

Meath Championships 2017 - are approaching fast see full list of dates below. Make sure to get the entries in ...

Juveniles - Some changes to times ....

Dear Parents,

Firstly Happy New year and hope you all had a nice break over the Xmas. Due to increased juvenile numbers this season, the newer members are not getting enough basic coaching while existing juvenile members are not getting enough game & court time. With this in mind, we have decided on the following changes with effect from next Monday 9th January. We have taken an extra half hour so start time will be 6.30pm.

  • Monday nights: 6.30 to 7.30pm - all new members that started this year
  • Monday nights: 7.30 to 8.30pm - all existing juvenile members
  • Thursday nights: 6.30 to 8pm - Juvenile Matches.
This should leave a situation whereby all players are importantly getting more coaching and more game & court time. This should improve things all round. Looking forward to seeing you all back next Monday and do not hesitate to contact either Martin (087)2669648 or Elaine if you want to discuss this matter.

Martin, Elaine, Paudge & Declan,
Juvenile Coaching Team
Navan Badminton Club.

Subscriptions - reminder to people to try and keep on top for there subs (talk with Kyle or Dermot).

Fundrasier - Sat 1st April is the planned date for the play in the Newgrange hotel. This is our only fundraiser for the year so we would ask all members to support as much as possible. More details to follow later
